Boardmasters Surf & Music Festival 10th – 14th August 2022

Established in 1981, Boardmasters is a 5-day event situated across two stunning locations in Cornwall - the surfing mecca of the UK, Fistral Beach where Boardmasters famous International Surf Competitions take place and arguably the most stunning location in the country to watch live music, Watergate Bay. Last year saw Boardmasters welcome over 150,000 festivalgoers across its two sites over the 5 days of the festival. Boardmasters operates a tiered ticket system with price bands for tickets changing over time. The sooner you buy, the cheaper it is!

FISTRAL BEACH

Steeped in heritage, Fistral Beach is the world famous home of British surfing and we're proud to say it's where we began back in '81. During Boardmasters, Fistral Beach transforms into a vibrant surf festival complete with pro surf competitions art installations, workshops, gigs and a bustling surf village. See you at the beach...

Surfing is a huge activity at Boardmasters and there are so many ways you can get involved. Watch world-class experts as you sip a cold beer from the beach bar, learn to surf like a pro or visit the surf village at Fistral Beach where you can grab some official merchandise.

SKATE & BMX

Fistral Beach once more plays host to the adrenaline filled action on the CANNA Ramp this year. With incredible skate and BMX talent descending onto Boardmasters, you can expect thrills and spills as they push themselves to the extremes to take home the top prize! From those kick-starting through to the top UK Pro's, you can expect a showcase like no other and the competition hots up in the Boardmasters Invitational Skate and BMX Contests.

The perfect way to heal your tired feet and detox your body after a long day of dancing and partying. Yoga on the beach will help you discover your physical, emotional and spiritual balance. Immerse your mind, body and soul in a wealth of wellness. Aerobalance, gong baths, aerial yoga, circus skills, vinyasa flow and much more will leave you feeling refreshed and re-energised.

FISTRAL SURF VILLAGE

As you soak up the sunshine, sights and sounds of our two festival sites at Watergate Bay and Fistral, you'll discover a myriad of stalls showcasing the finest local artisans and hand-picked apparel to suit your every need.

Set across the two stunning sites in Newquay for five days straight, Boardmasters curates a lineup of over 200 artists that perform over 12 stages at Watergate Bay. From international headliners through to breaking acts, expect an eclectic mix of genres, covering indie, pop, grime, drum and bass, house, rock and more.
