Wedding trends of 2022 and 2023 are continuing into 2024 and beyond

After covid it seemed everyone became less concerned about what day of the week they get married, with the emphasis on getting together to celebrate with loved ones. This trend continues into 2023, through 2024, and now into 2025!

Sometimes a weekday wedding is chosen if a date has a special meaning to couples which falls on a weekday – often the date they met or the date they got engaged.

Venue hire is more affordable midweek, allowing couples to use the extra spend on catering and special touches for their wedding day, as well as being able to invite more guests. It’s also a choice made when a couple’s preferred venue has limited weekend availability but they don’t want to wait.

Similarly, cheaper months of the year are increasingly popular – the romance of a cosy winter wedding, and the optimistic air of a spring wedding certainly have their appeal. Whatever the reasons, Wednesday is definitely the new Thursday, and Thursday is definitely the new Friday, and we believe it’s a trend that’s here to stay!

What we photograph really depends on your plans! The most popular option is photography coverage of the wedding ceremony and then a few photographs afterwards. Perhaps you just want a few special photos of just the two of you after your ceremony or you’d like your coverage to start at the wedding reception celebrations; whatever you’ve got planned we can tailor our coverage to suit you and your plans.

How Long Do We Get You For ?

You will get your photographer for 5 hours.

How much does the package cost ?

The cost of the midweek photography package is £500

When will we receive our photos?

We aim to deliver your photographs in 2-4 weeks.

Your images will be edited to a high standard and sent to you on a USB stick in a wooden presentation box.

Ian will be your photographer for short coverage, mid-week weddings.

What if we need extra coverage?

If you’ve booked our midweek package and need to increase your coverage, just get in touch about upgrading.

What if our wedding is in multiple locations?

If your celebrations involve travel to different locations additional travel fees may apply. Let us know your plans and we can provide guidance.

What if our celebrations overrun on the day?

If your celebrations overrun drastically on the day and you want to extend your coverage, just let us know and we can see about upgrading your package.
