Sunset Photography Workshop Cornwall

Sunset Photography Workshop Cornwall

from £99.00

Your 1-2-1 half-day workshops with professional photographer Ian are offered throughout the year at a time to suit you with the session structured around what you want to learn this may also include some post processing techniques to help get the most out of your images, The main aim of this workshop is to capture a wonderful Cornish sunset but obviously we cannot predict the weather, or guarantee a perfect sunset, but we will always try our best !  They also mean the day is generally not as long, especially when combined with travel both before and after the workshop. A half day one to one workshop shoot lasts approximately 4 to 5 hours, sometimes longer depending on the lighting conditions and distance travelled.

Times of sunset will depend on what time of year you book the workshop so feel free to contact me before hand to get an idea of times.

I can offer these classes to a maximum of 3 people at anyone time as to maximise your learning experience.

Ian has been running personalised one-to-one tuition for a few years now for photographers keen to improve their photographic skills.

The training will be geared to you, whether you're an experienced photographer or a complete beginner.

Whether you don't enjoy group learning, or simply feel you would benefit more from individual attention, Ian will tailor a day to your individual requirements. Some people simply require a guide to lead them to locations and be on hand for advice when needed It's up to you.

St Michael's Mount, Botallack Tin Mines, Landsend and the iconic Porth Nanven are just a few of the stunning locations we may visit.

"I would recommend you have the following with you on the day"

THIS IS ONLY A GUIDELINE:

CAMERA - A digital SLR is preferable but we may also be able to work creatively if you have a good ‘bridge’ camera. If in doubt I suggest you contact me and we can discuss.

TRIPOD – For effective and creative landscape photography you really need one of these. I carry spare tripods for those who don't own one.

SHUTTER RELEASE CABLE - These are quite cheap to purchase if you don’t already have one and are definitely a good idea as they lessen the chance of camera shake and blurred photo’s.

DIGITAL MEMORY CARDS – Ensure you have a high capacity memory card or a good supply of smaller ones!!

BATTERIES - you really don't want to run out – always have a spare if possible!

CAMERA BAG – We may be walking for a mile or two so a comfortable camera bag that is easy to carry is a good idea!

FILTERS – Not a requirement but something we could look at before you buy. I have filters at hand for you to try.

LAPTOP – We will usually have some opportunity during the workshop to look at some ‘post processing’ in lightroom so it would be a good idea to bring you laptop if you have one.

WATERPROOFS, GOOD WALKING BOOTS, WELLINGTON'S
